Our Enterprise Inquiry

We have been learning about Enterprise.  We have been looking at Enterprises undertaken by children. This is what my group learned about an enterprise called Racing against Cancer.

Facts about Guide Dogs

In reading I have been learning to find and summarise information in a non-fiction text by skimming and  scanning.

My group read a book call Guide dog.

Energy

My learning was to find vocablory in a non-fixion text.We had done a poppet about Energy.

My Te Tuhi

This is my self portrait .  We did this in Te Tuhi.

I like it because we had to draw it like us.   Th tricky part was painting it not on the blue.

Rongo

This is my Maori god, Rongo.    He is the god of peace and agriculture.

This art was fun because you had to do comic life.  The tricky part was cutting it out.

I am learning to solve multiplication problems by using arrays and my doubles and halves knowledge.

Success Criteria

·       I can recognise the connection between repeated addition and multiplication

·       I can create an array for a multiplication problem

·       I can use an array to solve harder multiplication problems

·       I can use my doubles and halves to solve harder multiplication problems

My reading reflection

I have been learning to summarise the main idea in a fiction text.
We used a story pyramid to help us summarise Grandad's Dinosaur.
I found this a bit hard because I couldn't remember the sentence.
One thing I did well was trying to find the key word.
My next step is to write the idea in my our word.
